Johnny is the first goat ever born on our farm! Candy Apple had pre labor signs at 10 pm. I was determined to stay by her side so I got a sleeping bag and camped out in the kidding stall with her. At 4 am, I woke up to her licking my arm. A bubble was appearing under her tail. Oh my goodness, what do I do? Help!!!! Well, Candy did most of it on her own, and delivered a huge, single buck kid. Like Candy, Johnny is very correct, with a level top line, wide rump and overall dairy strength.
